About Our Founder

Our Founder, Pearlynne Leong, was raised and educated in Singapore, where she received the purest form of Singapore Math from the original teachers who taught it. This lays the foundation of Simplicity Counts™ math.

As a Certified Life Coach and a BC Certified Teacher, she is deeply passionate about bringing out the best in people and helping them see what they’re truly capable of.

Along with years of her own personal development, she has woven a strong focus on positive mindset into her Simplicity Counts™ Math system. Her goal is to help others ignite their passion and succeed not just in math, but also in becoming the fuller version of themselves - the person they’re meant to be!

Pearlynne is also passionate about anti-bullying, and she spoke on “Anti-bullying - Learning to Speak UP”, at the Women’s Economic Forum by the All Ladies League. That experience changed her life and gave her a vision for her life mission.

In her spare time, she is quite an avid adventurer. She enjoys travelling, exploring new cities and geeking out in museums. She is also a secret cat-lover, and since her landlord doesn’t allow pets, she lives with imaginary ones only!
