Hello, I'm Pearlynne Leong.
I’m often known to parents as the “Last Resort Math Coach” because many children who come to me have already tried tutors, learning centres, or repeated attempts to catch up — yet continue to struggle with math. By the time they come to me, both children and parents are often tired, discouraged, and unsure what else to try next.
As a BC Certified Teacher, Certified Life Coach, and creator of the proprietary Simplicity Counts™ Math System, I specialize in helping children overcome math anxiety, rebuild years of weakened or missing foundations, and discover what they're truly capable of.
My approach has been shaped by my own formative math education in Singapore, my professional teacher training at the University of British Columbia, and years of working closely with children who arrive with very different math gaps, fears, and needs.
Through that experience, one philosophy has remained at the heart of everything I do:
